CPISRA - Opportunity, Development and Participation
CPISRA and the Local Organising Committee are delighted to invite the athletes, coaches, staff, officials
and volunteers to be part of the 2018 CPISRA World Games in Sant Cugat – Barcelona, Spain.
The fantastic facilities located in Sant Cugat, which include a Sports High Performance Centre, will play host to
athletes from all around the world. We look forward to welcoming your teams and athletes to Catalonia – Spain.

Development Sports
Following CPISRA’s development of Boccia and CP Football, we are continuing to facilitate and support the
development of further opportunities and new adapted sports, to increase CP participation. Each of the following
sports will be delivered as a two day training camp, followed by two days of opportunity to compete as individuals or
as part of mixed teams formed at the Games dependent upon the sport.

Accommodation
Teams, officials, and delegates will be accommodated in the following hotels which are up to 10 minutes travel at
peak traffic times. All these hotels have been tested during previous International events hosted by FECPC.

Classification
• Classification requested for Para Athletics and Para Swimming, awaiting confirmation from IPC.
• Classification has been agreed for CP Football and Para Taekwondo.
• There will be no classification for Boccia, Female CP Football, Para Table Tennis and Wheelchair Slalom.
• Requests for classification must be made with the ‘First Entry’
Anti-Doping
The CPISRA Anti-Doping Code, as a signatory of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code, will apply to all sports.
Athletes can be tested at any time, during or out of competition.
Travel VISA
Visa invitation letters will be produced on request.
Day Rate
€125 – 135 per person, per day - Day rate includes accommodation, full-board, social events, entry and capitation
fees, airport transfers and local transport from accommodation to sport venues and ceremonies.
The LOC is studying an entry without accommodation and transport that will be around €60-80 per person, per day.
Entry Deadlines
The entry process will be managed solely through the www.cpworldgames.com. The LOC will inform members when
first entries are open and the event can be accessed.
